SPEAK™ — Student Podcast Education, AI & Knowledge is a communications and leadership education program that prepares young people to communicate confidently, think critically, use emerging technology responsibly, and lead with purpose.

Through podcasting, storytelling, public speaking, digital media, and practical AI literacy, students learn by doing, developing skills they can use in the classroom, college, careers, leadership, and life.

More Than a Microphone

Podcasting is the platform. Communication, leadership, and AI literacy are skills for the future.

Students don't simply learn how to create content. They learn how to research, ask better questions, listen actively, tell compelling stories, evaluate information, recognize misinformation, use AI responsibly, preserve their own original thinking, collaborate with others, and confidently communicate their ideas.

How SPEAK Works

SPEAK combines learning with doing.

Depending on the program, students may develop a podcast or digital-media concept, research topics and guests, conduct interviews, practice public speaking, create and produce content, explore responsible AI use, evaluate AI-generated information, collaborate as a production team, and present their work.

Programming can be customized based on student age, learning objectives, group size, and the needs of the school or organization.
