Press & Media
Documenting Today's History for Tomorrow.
Making Black History Today is a Black-owned multimedia company dedicated to documenting the people, places, and movements shaping Black history in real time. Through original podcasts, event coverage, red carpet interviews, community journalism, newsletters, and digital storytelling, we preserve today's stories for tomorrow's generations.
Founded on Juneteenth 2025 and based in Dallas, Texas, we cover the leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, educators, public servants, nonprofits, and community changemakers whose work is shaping our communities today. We believe the people making history deserve the opportunity to tell their own stories while they're still making them.
